BRIEF HISTORY OF OPENING OF
BHARAT VIKAS PARISHAD ,AMBABARI BRANCH-JAIPUR

1. DR.K.K.Jain .Ph.D (Botany) of Jaipur first met DR.Late Suraj Prakash ji (Founder of Bharat Vikas Parisad -1963) in Delhi in 1981. He invited DR.Suraj Prakash to Jaipur to open a branch of Bharat Vikas Parisad in Jaipur. He came to Jaipur in 1982. Late Shree Chetanmal Dhadda of Johri Bazaar arranged the lecture of DR.Suraj Prakash in the Auditoruin of S.M.S.Hospital .After his thought provoking lecture towards service to society, few likeminded people started meeting every Sunday at the residence of Late shree Chetanmal Dhadda. These meetings converted into a regular Jaipur Branch of Bharat Vikas Parisad in 1982-83

2. Ambabari Branch was the fourth Branch in Jaipur in the chain of opening branches of Bharat Vikas Parisad in Jaipur,DR.K.K. Jain met shree Gulshan Kumar Pankaj industrialist who was also residing in Bani Park where DR.jain had his house .They exchanged their views regarding opening a new branch nearby .

3. In connection with opening a BVP Branch in Ambabari,shree Gulshan Kumar Pankaj met shree. M.D. Kataria(B.Sc.Civil Engineering) who retired as Additional Divisional Railway Manager in April 1990 from Jodhpur and was running Vivekanand Kendra at his residence- C-21 Ambabari Jaipur . shree Pankaj was very much inpressed by shree. Kataria’s dedication to social and relegious service after his retirement from 32 years of railway service , with experience of 22 years of Rotary Club . He opened a new Rotary Club at Hanumangarh in 1976-77 and was the founder President.Both of them agreed to open a new B.V.P branch in Ambabari .

4. On 05-06-1995. A meeting of likeminded people was called at the residence of shree Kataria where sarva shree Avdhesh Mathur , S.C.bajaj, G.K.Pankaj and M.D Kataria were present. Shree Kataria also invited D.R. Chadda who was B.V.P secretary of Rajasthan State who addressed our gadhering and explained the four Avenues , Sampark, Sahyog,Seva and Sankar as well as the Aims and Object of B.V.P.

5. Thereafter membership compaign started and 25 members were enrolled. From amongst these members the following Provisional Executive Commette was formed |

6. The first General body meeting of the branche was held on 27.08.1995 in the community hall of Kamal Apartment at Bani Park Jaipur.Late D.R.Rameshwar Sharma ex.Vice chancellor Rajas than University and B.V.P president of Rajasthan State was the chief guest who blessed the newly formed Ambabari Branch.

7. The oath taking ceremony and presentation of charter was held in Chankaya Restaurant on 15-10-1995. The charter was presented by Shree Surendra Kumar Vadhwa , at present National Secretary General and Chief Editor (Niti) of B.V.P Delhi who was also the Chief Guest . Late DR. Rameshwar Sharma Ex.VC.Rajasthan University presided over the function .The AMBABARI, BRANCH came into existence frome 15.10.1995. with the blessings of central and state officials. The branch started functioning in four Avenues of service with full zeal and enthusiasm
